You were here at the start of this journey and we wanted to let you know that the final chapter of Daybreak's story is now live on Kickstarter!
Whether you've been following along with Daybreak's journey this whole time or moved on to other comics (it's OK, there are a lot of great books out there!), there's something for everyone in this new campaign, including variant cover art by Doug Mahnke, Netho Diaz, Fahna and Patrick Olliffe, not to mention new NSFW cover art by New Pain's own Tom Nguyen.
The campaign is off to a strong start but it takes a lot of support to stay on the good side of our algorithmic overlords. If you've been holding out for a hero, please allow us to remind you that the campaign for Daybreak! #3 has reached its final 48 hours!
All kinds of insanity has erupted over the course of this campaign. Sketch covers, Artist Editions, our first mystery stretch goal unlocked and shortly to be announced, John O nearing bankruptcy because he's our most SUPER of superbackers, my shocking admission that I have no friends...even The Joker has shown up over the past month. To say it's been unpredictable would be...well, a lie, because these things are all planned out in advance. But we try to make the campaigns as fun and interesting as the comic book itself is.
If you haven't checked out the latest issue yet, we miss you. Come join us as we build out the final days of what has become our BIGGEST DAYBREAK CAMPAIGN YET!

You may have already heard (Heck, this may be the third time you're reading this message) the exciting news but if not, please don't mind this quick note to inform you that DAYBREAK! #3 is now live on Kickstarter!
A robust start to a campaign is fundamentally important to get on the good side of KS's algorithmic overlords. If you're planning on continuing to support Daybreak, please consider doing so early to help us stay near the top of Kickstarter's search results etc.
Plus, it helps to lower Tom Nguyen's blood pressure.

If you backed Daybreak! #2 or the remastered Switch: Electricia softcover, you're likely already aware that the campaign for Daybreak!#3 will be launching in a couple of weeks. If you're not in the loop then this note is intended for you.
The third issue of the series is my personal favorite to date; I really enjoyed scripting a deep dive into the f*cked up dynamic between Daybreak and her arch-foe, Doc Matter. We're also giving readers the first hints of a much larger story at play; some background and lore that our characters are slowly starting to become aware of.
Who are these two?
I'm thrilled with the visual storytelling of my partner-in-Daybreak!, Stefan Tosheff, in this issue. He often makes choices that are radically different from what I envision as I'm writing but in every case, make me rethink and make the story better.
Currently, we have almost 80 people signed up on the prelaunch page. I'm hoping to reach at least 100 before the campaign launches, almost double the number from issue #2.
If you missed the last issue, no need to stress, you'll be able to catch up as part of this campaign. All of us at New Pain hope you'll join us for this latest chapter; I'm very excited to share it with the world, even as Stefan and I have begun working on the double-sized finale.

Wanted to drop you all a quick note to let you know what there are only 5 days remaining in the campaign for the remastered THE SWITCH: ELECTRICIA graphic novel.
The campaign is fully funded and we're now working towards unlocking our second wave of stretch goals, a complete set of five Switch trading cards with a sixth mystery card within shooting distance. If you enjoy "darker" villain stories like Thunderbolts or The Boys, you'll have a good time with The Switch. If it sounds like your cup of tea, check it out here!
